The
2009 Texas Legislature increased the per diem for hotel room rates across
Texas. As a result, the hotel room rates at the Omni Hotel were increased
to $121 per day.
This is a significant increase which will impact your travel budgets.
We have worked with the Omni staff and have agreed to a rate of $103
per day. The hotel staff was very mindful of travel budgets and how
this increase could affect our 2010 AEC attendance. We felt it imperative
to get this information to you prior to preparing your travel budgets
for 2010-2011.
The program committee is already working to bring you another outstanding
program for the AEC.
