On February 3, at
the Victoria City-County Health Dept our annual Mosquito training was
held. There were 68 people in attendance, from 24 different counties
and cities. This training provides the three hours of continuing education
needed for applicator license.
On July 15, we will have OSSF training sponsored by Texas Agri life.
Dr Bruce Lesikar will give an 8 hour class on high strength waste water,
and on July 16 he will give a 6 hour class on homeowner maintenance.
We plan to have a South Tx chapter meeting on May 14.

On behalf of the
South Texas Chapter, we would like to thank everyone who attended the
South Texas Annual Conference in December on South Padre Island. It
was a great success! Our STC membership continues to grow and everyone
please spread the word about our organization.
The Victoria City-County
Health Department hosted its annual mosquito training for three continuing
education hours on February 3 from 8:30 a.m.-Noon.
We will also be
hosting an OSSF training day in late May or early June. No date has
been set; however, we will post information on the TEHA web site as
soon as we set a date.
