May 6, 2008 We
are well on our way to experiencing another great year. In response
to our membership, during July we will be holding our “OSSF Training
Day” in Riviera, where we will offer 8 hours of continuing education
and a true south Texas meal. We are currently taking action on purchasing
a new speaker system for our meetings. Also, it’s not too early
to start thinking about our 4th annual meeting in December at South
Padre Island. Make your plans to attend now. Remember as our membership
grows, our experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm grows. If you know
someone who is considering joining our chapter, please share with them
not only why you became a member but also why you are a member today.
I commend our chapter officers and members for their excellent judgment.
