Privacy/Safety

The privacy and safety of every member and visitor to the TEHA website is of utmost importance. The only information we retain is that which members give to us in the process of billing for memberships and requests for e-mail contact inclusion. This information is used only for the intended purpose and is not made available to any third-party organization.

This privacy policy is provided along with Terms and Conditions as a customer service.

Secure Transactions/Paying for Membership

When making a membership purchase through the TEHA web site, all transactions are secured by an accredited third-party host. When your information transfers, it passes through an SSL encryption process that is also approved by all major credit card companies. TEHA makes every effort to ensure that the third-party business maintains an up-to-date certificate of security and that said business takes expected precautions against the misuse, theft or loss of that information.

The TEHA site does not store sensitive information within files or databases, other than a partial string of credit card information for critical verification.

The TEHA site does not at present utilize tracking cookies, which are in common use by many on-line businesses to enhance and customize the visitor experience.

Information Collected

Information collected is used for two purposes:
-Billing for membership
-Tracking visitor statistics only to the extent of evaluating the number of individuals who visit the TEHA web site. This does not access or include any personal information.

These are performed within the security parameters of approved and accredited third-party businesses.

E-Mail/Listserv

The express purpose of collecting and maintaining e-mail addresses from members and visitors is to provide up-to-date information as a customer service. TEHA protects and respects the privacy and security of its members and does not share this information with outside parties.

Change of Service

Members are welcome to opt out of e-mail and listserv contact at any time. TEHA is neither responsible for, nor liable for, providing individual updates for members.
