Important Announcement
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our friend, Mr. Jimmie C. Clark. Jim passed away on Tuesday, May 24th. He was a Registered Sanitarian and a TCEQ licensed OSSF Designated Representative. Jim received his BS in biology from Trinity University. After 28 years of both active duty and then Army Reserves, Lt. Colonel Jim Clark retired from the US Military. Jim worked with Metro Health for 36 years including time as a supervisor in the Air Pollution Program and then in the Environmental Health Division.Jim was an active member of the Cental Texas Chapter of TEHA for many years, and was serving on the Governing Council at the time of his death. He even booked all of the speakers for the OSSF tract at our conference last week. After retirement, Jim stayed active as a consultant in the areas of food safety, OSSF inspections, and public health investigations in 9 incorporated cities in Bexar County. In mid-April of this year, Jim was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Jim leaves behind his loving wife, Ann, two daughters, two sons-in-law, and one granddaughter.

Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2:30 pm – Graveside Service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery
A celebration of Jim's life will follow the graveside service at the Voigt Community Center in Hollywood Park.
