TEHA COVID Safety Plan
Texas Environmental Health Association (TEHA) is committed to the safety of our communities, as well as the attendees of the 2021 Annual Educational Conference.
Below are the safety precautions and procedures that will be in place throughout the event.
Decisions will be informed by CDC guidelines, as well as local rules and recommendations.
Updates may be made between now and October as the impact of Covid-19 is subject to change.
  • Masks are not required but are strongly encouraged.
  • All attendees will be provided with a mask from TEHA if they wish to use it.
  • Social distancing guidelines and recommendations will be considered when planning all seating arrangements for the educational sessions and food and beverage functions.
  • Attendees will be provided with a method for indicating their comfort level for social distancing and interaction. More details will follow prior to the conference.
  • Food and beverage service will be handled with the utmost safety by the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center.
  • Sanitizer stations are located throughout the resort.
  • Conference registration will be capped at 400.
  • TEHA will be following recommended Covid-19 guidelines and encourages our membership and guests to do the same. TEHA recommends vaccination if you are able.
