The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Texas Environmental Health Association will be hosting an educational conference at the Baytown Community Center at 2407 Market St., in Baytown 77520 on Thursday November 7th . This conference will provide another opportunity for you to obtain continuing education credits required to renew your Sanitarian’s or Code Enforcement license. The agenda is being finalized at this time and topics include

A legislative update
Personal safety on the job
Inspections by USDA-FSIS at the Port of Houston
Meat Inspections by USDA—specific area of presentation to be determined
Donations of food by food establishments—responsibilities and requirements

. The conference is open to all sanitarians, code enforcement officers, inspectors, and other interested parties regardless of membership status in TEHA. Registration will be available shortly at www.myteha.org Additional materials and information including a complete agenda will be forthcoming.
