n Memorial-- Robert Lee Drummond

It is with great sadness that I write to notify you of the death of one of our beloved TEHA members.

Robert (Bob) Lee Drummond, 82, of Garland, Texas passed away on July 10, 2020 in Garland, Texas. He was born on July 10, 1938 to Ralph Drummond and Emma Harvey in New Port, Arkansas.

Bob served over 40 years as an Environmental Health Specialist with the City of Dallas, Maricopa County, Arizona and the City of McKinney as well as being retained by private companies as a consultant. Bob was a member of TEHA since 1974 and he attended all annual educational conferences from the time he became a member until his health no longer allowed him to.

Bob loved networking with other public health professionals and was an avid encourager of new members as a mentor. With Tom Edmondson as Committee Chair, he, Janet Greenwood, Joe Vikery and Guy Wilkinson composed an History of TEHA book. He received our prestigious I. E. Scott Award in 1994.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 27 at 10:00 am at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville, Richardson, Tx 75243

We offer our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

Sincerely,

Janet Greenwood RS
Past President of TEHA
